What does a sauna cost on Mallorca?
The honest answer is that it depends on the cabin, the heater and how the site is reached — but you should not have to guess. The cheapest complete indoor sauna we install on Mallorca starts at €14.500, and that figure already includes the cabin, the heater, the control unit, transport to your property and standard installation. Below are realistic all-in prices for a few popular configurations, so you can see where your project is likely to land before you speak to anyone.

Saunas built to fit the space you have
Not every room is a rectangle and not every terrace is level. When a standard cabin will not fit, Wellness Design builds to measure — around a beam, into a slope, under a low ceiling, with glass where you want the view. These are projects they have already delivered.
Every cabin is offered in aspen and alder or in thermo-treated aspen, and the outdoor models in brushed thermo-pine. The difference in colour and grain is easier to see than to describe.
Frequently asked questions
How long does delivery and installation take?
Most models are built to order, so allow roughly 10–14 weeks from confirmed order to installation, plus shipping to Mallorca. We confirm the exact schedule with Wellness Design when you order.
Do I need a building permit for an outdoor sauna?
It depends on the municipality and whether the sauna is fixed to a foundation. We check this for you during the site survey and handle the paperwork if a permit is needed.
What do I need to prepare before installation?
A level, load-bearing base and a suitable electrical supply. Larger heaters need a three-phase connection. We specify exactly what is required after the survey.
Is the price on this page final?
No. It is an indication based on the current Wellness Design price list and typical Mallorca logistics. Difficult access, crane lifting and groundwork are quoted after the site survey.
How much does a sauna cost on Mallorca?
A complete indoor sauna including heater, control unit, transport and standard installation starts at €14.500 including 21 % IVA. A larger indoor cabin such as the Nativa 150×180 lands around €22.800, and an outdoor garden sauna around €26.600. Use the configurator on this page for a figure based on your own choices.
What does sauna installation cost, and what does it cover?
Standard installation is already included in the prices above. Our fitters assemble the cabin, connect it, run a test and hand it over. What is not included is the final electrical connection: Spanish rules require a local electrician to make that connection and issue the certificate. We assume ground floor plus one further floor; anything beyond that, or a crane, is quoted separately.
What electrical supply does a sauna need?
Most models need a 400V three-phase supply, 16A, on its own residual-current device, wired in 5×2.5mm². The compact cabins — Mini 95×95 and Cala Wood 120×150 and 150×150 — run on a single-phase 230V 16A supply in 3×2.5mm². A 12kW heater needs two separate supplies. Leave the cable four to five metres longer than you think you need.
Can I buy a sauna on Mallorca and have it installed later?
Yes. Delivery from the factory takes ten to fourteen weeks, so many clients order while a renovation is still running and we install once the room or terrace is ready. Outdoor saunas arrive disassembled and are built on site.
